Amanda and Pete’s summer wedding at Nashville’s iconic Parthenon was nothing short of breathtaking.

We always say that we have the best couples and it doesn’t get much better than these two. About nine months before their wedding, Kathy (Amanda’s mom) reached out to us to see if we were available for Amanda and Pete’s wedding at the Parthenon!

All the stars aligned and we got to work planning this beautiful event. After our kickoff call, it was clear that the couple wanted all of their guests to have an incredible time, to which we said—say less!

If you’ve ever been inside the Parthenon, you know that the space itself is beautiful, so you don’t have to dress it up too much. The landing outside of it on the other hand . . . not so much! Challenge accepted! We had to do quite a bit of work to dress it up, but we were thrilled with the final product.

Amanda and Pete had a sweet ceremony at The Cathedral of Incarnation and then they boogied on over to The Parthenon for their reception. Upon entering, guests were greeted with passed apps, wine and champagne. Y’all! The servers had the cutest butler towels!

We held guests in the treasury area until it was time for introductions. We then invited guests into the main room where the couple did their first dance and cut the cake! After that, we opened up the food stations and invited guests to the outside portion—which was beautifully outfitted.

Not only did the Parthenon provide a stunning backdrop, but the reception was filled with personalized touches that made the day uniquely theirs. From custom-designed butler towels and a monogrammed dance floor to a lively live band, every detail was carefully curated to create a cohesive and sophisticated look and reflect the couple’s style. Their color palette of white and blue evoked a classic, elegant atmosphere that perfectly complemented the Parthenon’s grandeur.

Once the dance party kicked off, Blue Tone Music had people on the beautiful, custom dance floor all night long! Imagine dancing the night away with the stunning replica of Athena Parthenos as your backdrop. It’s a dream come true for many Nashville brides, and Amanda and Pete made it their reality. Their wedding was a celebration of love, style, and the magic of Music City.

We had an absolute blast planning and designing this wedding alongside Kathy and Amanda (and occasionally Pete 😉)! It was truly a night we’ll never forget.
